Position Summary

We are looking for Quality Assurance engineers to write and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a QA engineer, you will be working in an agile environment, wherein you will be working as a part of a feature scrum team and will be designing and implementing tests, debug and make corrective actions. You play a vital role in the company’s product development process. You will be responsible for testing the product before launches to ensure that the product is free from errors and reliable.

Job Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with scrum teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical design to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create a detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.
• Identify, record, document and track bugs using respective tools.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects.
• Contribute to feature sanity/regressions/Acceptance level tests.
• Identify the latest testing tools and methodologies in the market; and provide solutions in building the right test suites to ensure that the quality of the product is validated.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Other duties as may be assigned

Competencies And Experience

• Experience in developing automated test for UI and API components and systems that rely on the micro services and responsive web application.
• Must have knowledge and work experience with two or more of the following tools (or equivalent): Selenium (web driver, TestNG), Protractor, Postman / SOAPUI.
• Should have hands on experience with POM, BDD and REST assured framework.
• Should have experience working with JMeter/SOAPUI for Performance and Scale testing.
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, JAVA Script, NodeJS, C# or equivalent.
• Writing SQL queries
• Writing queries in MongoDB
• Experience on performance testing, security testing, OWASP, penetration testing would be added advantage.
• Minimum educational qualification – a bachelor’s degree in technical stream
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, AWS, Salesforce, any configuration management tools
