Job Title: Receiving Supervisor

Immediate Supervisor: General Manager

Hours: Fulltime position, 40 hours per week, 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday.

Rate of pay: $26.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Manage and oversee the daily workflow of the employees in the receiving department
• Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
• Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed in Fishbowl®
• Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
• Organize and maintain inventory including raw material used in production
• Boxing, labeling and stocking shelves
• Process receiving of internal work orders from production department
• Maintain inventory of domestically supplied components
• Maintain inventory of supplies and/or materials needed for performance of duties
• General maintenance & clean-up of the warehouse area
• Cross train in the shipping department and fill in on an as needed basis
• Work closely with the shipping department supervisor and staff sharing duties such as filling distributor orders, boxing and labeling of products
• Personnel duties; including the involvement of annual reviews, hiring & training of staff in the receiving department

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Computer competency, experience in MS Excel a plus
• Highly organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Communication skills
• Leadership experience
• Lifting (50-70 pounds) is required for this position

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D (required)
• Warehouse experience (a plus)
• Forklift license/certification (a plus)
