REGISTRAR / COUNSELING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – 12 MONTH POSITION
Montgomery County Public Schools is accepting applications for a 12-month administrative assistant position to work in the counseling department at Blacksburg High School
Minimum Qualifications
:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Secretarial and office skills
- Experience working with computers
- Functional knowledge of commonly used office equipment and work-flow technologies
- Working knowledge of modern professional office workflow
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to multi-task, work with interruptions, and work under pressure
- Ability to work with administrators, staff, parents, and students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a school system
- Experience in integrated software systems
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable to meet the requirements of the specific assignments.
Salary:
2023-2024 Classified Pay Scale 12 Month Administrative Assistant salary scale (depending on experience)
