Location: Worcester, MA
Pay Rate: $50,000-$55,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

The Reimbursement EHR Specialist role:

• Is to implement, enhance, and maintain EHR Functionality with a focus on the Revenue Cycle Management capabilities.
• Will work closely with the Reimbursement Team to update the system as needed for coding and payer requirements.
• Is responsible for maintaining and updating the Avatar PM module while exploring and testing additional functionality and system upgrades.
• Will work and collaborate as part of a team to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Will assist in creating training and documentation for users to understand new features and functionality.
• Will work closely with internal clinical, administrative and financial stakeholders within Spectrum.

Qualifications:

• Experience in an EHR with an emphasis on coding and billing workflows, behavioral health experience a plus.
• Familiarity with terminology, Behavioral Health coding, and advanced computer literacy
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships, team player with the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to understand current workflows and processes and how system changes and enhancements impact these.
• Strong customer focus
• Maintain high standards of data integrity
• Highly functioning analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
• Successfully able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Flexible work schedule to ensure dates and deliverables are preserved
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Useful to have advanced knowledge of Excel
