If you love making a difference in the lives of older adults, this is a great opportunity. We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in the Birmingham/Irondale area and are seeking experienced Resident Care Assistants (RCA) with one (1) or more years of experience in a ALF/SCALF unit.

CURRENTLY WE HAVE FULL TIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Resident Care Assistants:

7:00 pm - 7:00 am (12) hour shift 3 days week - every other weekend

3:00 pm - 11:00pm (8) hour shift 4 days week - every other weekend

11:00 pm - 7:00 am (8) hour shift 4 days week - every other weekend

Kirkwood offers a $2000 Sign On Bonus and new enhanced Shift Differentials.

The RCA's interact directly with residents by providing comfort, interaction and assisting them with daily living needs. We are searching for dedicated and compassionate individuals who have a passion for working in a retirement community.

Kirkwood is known for our outstanding RCA to Resident ratio, which is one of the best in the Birmingham area.

Successful Candidates will:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Speak, read and understand English;
• Be able to perform the essential functions outlined in the job description;
• Have a positive attitude and able to interact well with other employees
• Be CPR Certified (preferred).
