Merchandiser
The Merchandiser will be responsible for analyzing and management of inventory through our stores, and making product recommendations in an effort to determine appropriate inventory levels/product offerings in our organization. This consists of items from same or similar categories with large quantities. This position will work with various aspects of the business to enhance product presentation, location, and appropriate inventory levels. This position is responsible for tracking, inventory levels, conducting sales and marking research within our units, and make recommendations to the team on products levels/offerings based on data, while updating the owner on inventory levels through the use of excel, various inventory reporting reports, and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Checking inventory data daily to understand market trends in our units of our products
Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage
Working with the District Manager and Owner on product offerings, and sales data from the inventory sales data
Creating presentation ideas, or modify location information in an attempt to better market items in our stores, which can include photos, end-caps, displays, and signage
Track and make recommendations on what products are not moving through the inventory sales system by creating Stock Level Spreadsheets to track what sells, and what is not selling and verify with Matt
Effectively communicate with store managers, (verbally & via email) as directed by management
Assist the Owner and District Manager & Managers as needed
Know and adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
Review the Super saver sections watch for overstock and help set displays
Transfer some items between stores when needed be sure the transfers are completed

Walk warehouse to see sitting inventory that can be moved

Travel will be to our 6 Corporate locations with 3 located in Genesee County, 1 in Saginaw, 1 in Owosso, and 1 in Sterling Heights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
