Rin Robyn Pools®, a small business with two retail stores in Hackettstown and Chester, NJ, selling pool chemicals, parts, supplies, outdoor leisure products, toys and games, hot tub chemicals, and Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager. The ideal candidate should have previous retail experience, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the pool and outdoor leisure industry.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of two retail stores that are open 7 days/week, all year, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

Manage and supervise a team of retail sales associates, setting sales goals and providing training and support to ensure team success.

Ensure store inventory is managed effectively, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing inventory counts.

Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring that displays are attractive and meet company standards.

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales goals.

Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers and staff.

Manage the scheduling and payroll for retail staff.

Serve as a liaison between customers and the company's pool and hot tub service and installation team to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Maintain an understanding of the industry, trends, and competition to develop a competitive advantage.

Assist with sales of inground pool sales, pool renovations, and service, as well as the company's innovative BioNova® Natural Pools.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, preferably in the pool and outdoor leisure industry but not required.

College degree preferable but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales strategies.

Passion for the pool and outdoor leisure industry and willingness to learn about new products and services.

Knowledge of pool and hot tub service and installation a plus but we will provide training.

Ability to work WEEKENDS and some holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) as needed. Vacations or time off in the summer season isn't allowed. Must be able to work significant overtime during the summer season.
