The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the direct provision of patient care and for assisting the manager with daily operations to include but not limited to coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, selection, development, and retention of staff, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Minimum two years nursing experience preferred. BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with matriculation within 3 years of appointment date is required. Appropriate professional certification (within 2 years if not currently certified) required. Previous management experience preferred. Current CPR through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. ICVR; Telemetry; CCU; ED and Medical Surgical - ACLS required. CCU; ED and Medical Surgical - PALS required. Family Center: NRP required and successful completion of AWHONN Intermediate FHR Monitoring course expected within 6 months of hire; Tele; ICVR; CCU; ED; PACU - training in EKG recognition or completion of EKG class; CPI required annually for inpatient/BH/Detox/ED; Oncology: prefer RNOCN

Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.

Other: Thorough knowledge of nursing standards, principles, and procedures; excellent interpersonal skills relating to internal/external customers to obtain and interpret age-appropriate information required to assess the scope of treatment and patient care. Computer skills required. Maintains all competencies required of an RN as defined in their job description. EPACT Super user Training required within 6 months of employment.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires range of motion within functional limits. Requires frequently: pushing 40 lbs; pulling 80 lbs; standing; walking; repetitive trunk rotation-standing; manual dexterity; both handedness (both hands must be used) near vision; far vision; hearing (requires hearing whispered voice); Occasionally: lifting 50 lbs from floor to waist and waist to eye level; one handed carrying 15lbs; work kneeling; work squatting/crouching; visual color discrimination; and visual depth perception. In the environment occasionally exposed to wetness; slippery surfaces; ionizing radiation and accident exposure.

Schedule: Part Time, 7a-7p, 2 12hr shifts a week
