Our top national retail client is looking for an experienced Senior Sample Specialist to join their team. As the Senior Sample Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the sample management operations and ensuring the timely, accurate, and organized distribution of samples.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the flow of merchandise storage and movement of samples while in and out of the studio.
- Prioritize incoming samples, asks, supports needs, emails, and meetings effectively.
- Responsible for cehcking samples into the studio and ensuring all samples are accounted for.
- Responsible for sorting and organizing samples by category, shoot, and purpose.
- Communicate to photo producers, photo account managers, and leadership around damaged samples, missing samples, and weekly current statuses/large projects.
- Follow up with missing samples.
- Take photos of all incoming samples.
- Pack samples for shipment and provide packing slips that list all contents and organize in centralized place for easy access/reference.
- Take trainings and continue role related education.
- Receive and tag sample/inventory garments and accurately maintain data base of in-house inventory/samples at all time.
- Organize physical samples on racks in a way that makes sense with shooting deadlines and sample returns.
- Coordinate inventory pulls with the account manager to ensure products arrive in-studio prior to shoots.
- Track timelines of studio samples and coordinate with the account manager team to make sure samples are returned by date needed.
- Ensure that garments are kept in their original state and organized to ensure that all samples are photo ready and accurately labeled at all times.
- Manage product flow through cross-functional partnerships in order to identify missing samples, prioritize samples for photography, duplicate requests, and expedite priority sample photography to meet launch deadlines.
- Assist the producer with larger in-studio and location photo shoots.
- Communicate with other merchandise coordinators and studio partners to ensure unidentified samples are called out.
- Order products when needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- 2-3 years of experience in a photo studio environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
