Shuttle Driver / Logistics Center Technician

We are immediately hiring a Shuttle Driver/Logistics Center Technician to deliver shipments from our Morris Plains, NJ facility.

This position will report to the Logistics Center Manager and will focus on pick-up and delivery of Cryoport’s temperature-controlled shippers between Cryoport’s Logistics Center and client locations.

The right candidate will be:

· Mechanically inclined with 2-3 years experience as a Delivery Driver, Forklift or tractor operator, experienced with handling power tools

· Proficient computer user with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or SS and Kanban

· Proficient in basic math

· Familiar with cGMP and/or GDP standards

Qualifications And Education Requirements:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· 2-3 years’ experience as a Delivery Driver

· Clean driving record with no traffic violations A MUST

· Willingness to undergo a Background Check and Driving Background check

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Following DOT regulations and safety standards

· Observing and adhering to all traffic laws

· Following and maintaining safety precautions in warehouse

· Delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses by differing routes

· Adhering to a time schedule

· Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating a delivery vehicle

· Asking for feedback on the services you provide and resolving client complaints

· Completing and submitting logs and reports

· Creating a team environment and culture

· Performing other duties as assigned

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must have strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently

· Organization and prioritization skills with an excellent attention to detail

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
