Puzzle Me This, the Cape’s premier puzzle and game store for over 30 years, is seeking an evening supervisor. As an evening supervisor for Puzzle Me This you will help drive our growth and success by providing excellent customer service, leading and motivating our sales team, and learning all of our fun and unique product lines. The evening supervisor is responsible for the second shift store operations including staff training & supervision, customer service, product placement, store maintenance and cash register close-out.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise store operations and staff (keyholder, store closing)
• Assign and oversee daily projects and activities (pricing, cleaning, inventory restocking & rotation, merchandising, staff breaks)
• Receive inventory, maintain sales floor and stockroom inventory
• Manage the sales floor and provide every customer a superior shopping experience
• Learn all product categories and best-selling, new and popular items
• Demonstrate and explain products; ensure ability to make recommendations for any age, group or scenario.
• Train staff on products, customer service and store policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked sales-floor and customer-focused environment
• Build attractive merchandise displays in our windows and sales floor
• Perform daily sales drawer cash out and daily sales recap
• Perform inventory restocking and analysis

Requirement Skills & Experience

• Fulltime evening position 2:30-10:30 (Saturdays and Sundays are a must)
• Supervisory, retail and customer service experience required
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Motivated, friendly, honest & reliable
• Knowledge & interest of board games a huge plus
• Strong customer service focus, must enjoy dealing with people
• Curious, willing and able to learn our games, brainteasers and puzzles
• Must be able to climb ladders (cleaning and inventory management); must be able to lift boxes up to 40lbs
• All candidates will need to pass a background check prior to being hired

Offer/Schedule

Our season runs from April through December.

This is a fulltime (5-day, 40 hour per week) position from June – September.

Saturdays and Sundays are required.

The ideal candidate would work days mid to late May for training, then transition to second shift (2:30-10:30) June-September.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
