Duties
- As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will:
- Serve as Branch Chief managing the evaluation of Department of Defense accession processing policies/programs
- Develop, implement and manage the review and evaluation of command policies/programs (technical operations, safety, security, accountability and reliability of systems and personnel) to ensure compliance with guidance/regulations
- Brief policy/program study/evaluation results outlining findings/resolution/recommendations to managers/staff
- Conduct follow up inspections/visits to ensure compliance/progress resolving issues identified in studies/program evaluations
- Define business transformation projects during multi-year Program Objective Memorandum planning for command approval
- Provide Information Technology subject matter expertise to perform strategic planning and change management activities for the command
- Perform supervisory duties of a technical and administrative staff

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, including: Planning studies/evaluation of command programs/policies to identify efficiency/effectiveness or need for changes; Identifying requirements to support information technology modernization and transformation programs; Delivering study results/analysis to managers/staff in written and/or oral formats. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
