Summary: Greenfield Engineering has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Systems Administrator. Candidate will be responsible for configuration, deployment and maintaining Windows servers, Windows 10 desktop systems, Network infrastructure and compliance with information assurance requirements. Applicant will perform SCAP and ACAS scans, submit compliance reports in VRAM and correct deficiencies.

Qualifications: A qualified incumbent would at minimum possess the following skill sets:

• Minimum 2 years system administration experience
• NAVAIR required network security certifications (CompTIA Security+)
• Knowledgeable / proficient in the use of Microsoft operating systems
• Ability to manage / maintain various types of servers and security requirements
• Security conscious in all aspects
• Resourceful / problem solving skills
• Works independently
• Self-starter
• Organized
• Detail oriented

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret

Telework: This position is not eligible for reoccurring telework, and will require an onsite presence at Patuxent River NAS for greater than or equal to 90% of the work week.

Experience: Systems Administrator, BLS SOC 15-1142: Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. May administer network security measures.
