This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
Unit Position Summary
This job would entail carrying out standard software development tasks (writing documentation, tests, and new features) for various pieces of research software related to analyzing evolution in computational populations.
Desired Qualifications
Comfort programming in C++ and Python. Comfort with software development tools such as git and Github. Experience solving challenging algorithmic programming problems.
