The Vice President, Enterprise Products provides strategic technology direction to all shoreside applications and products. This executive will be a member of the technology senior management team and will oversee the technology roadmap, the delivery of application enabled business capabilities and the ongoing health of deployed applications across the Royal Caribbean Group landscape.

Critical Areas of Responsibility

The Enterprise Products leader will be responsible for the product roadmap and prioritization, technology design, feature/use case definition, SDLC, QA, and release management. In addition, this executive must provide the leadership and direction necessary to create an environment that motivates a bright and technically diverse organization to deliver innovation to employees, travel agents and customers. This leader will be an intensely technical executive who cares deeply about the product and understands its impact on the Company and its customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic and execution skills at the enterprise level, along with exceptional influencing skills. S/he will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and delivering valuable, cost-effective, and reliable application technology via both in-house and outsourced resources. Beyond excellent delivery skills, the ideal candidate will be a business technology officer with a proven record of creating real business value through the alignment of technology and business interests.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead the Enterprise Products organization managing all shore applications including development, implementation, support, and maintenance.
• Proactively partner with business leaders to ensure the continuous improvement of business capabilities along with appropriate prioritization of to deliver commercial or operational value.
• Continuously focus on building and developing engineering and leadership talent that has the business acumen and technical capability to deliver world-class products.
• Provide engineering and product leadership in setting strategy, developing priorities, and managing operating mechanisms that drive a highly effective and efficient organization.
• Continuously create and manage the development environment and cross-functional partnerships to create a rigorous focus on product innovation.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are of the highest standard and drive to testing automation.
• Facilitate the continuous improvement of processes, policies, and procedures for ensuring that systems and assets are safeguarded and follow an appropriate lifecycle.

Experience:

15+ years of experience in a variety of technology disciplines, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in architecting and designing technology solutions; experience leading technology teams at scale
