TITLE: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
POSITION SCOPE: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing a high-functioning warehouse and office space in Las Vegas under the direction of the Business Development Manager for permanent museum exhibitions, themed entertainment, physical and digital consumer experiences, and retail environments.
Warehouse Supervisors work collaboratively with the Facilities and Production teams to ensure exhibition assets, retail merchandise, and all Las Vegas storage is handled, housed, and transferred with efficiency and care.
This expert communicator will serve as a leader over the strategic in and out flow of the Las Vegas warehouse and storage, including overseeing the Warehouse Receiver with their duties. Candidates will have strong organizational skills, an understanding of warehouse logistics, and proven competence with power tools and equipment. A communicator with experience receiving freight, organizing materials, directing/scheduling shipments, and documentation of all movement in/out. Can also serve as an assistant production hand during exhibition builds and load-ins as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating processes to aid workflow and can triage then prioritize requests from multiple departments. Work will be focused primarily on the Las Vegas market, with opportunities to assist other national projects when needed as the company’s portfolio expands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop, maintain, and update systems and procedures for general operations of warehouse and office space, including receiving product, sorting, categorizing product, product valuation, inventory tracking, and waste management.
- Organize and schedule renovations, general maintenance, and all inbound and outbound movement.
- Coordinate with property management team with any rules, regulations, updates, requirements, or maintenance of the Las Vegas warehouse and storage facilities.
- Accept/collect mail from Warehouse Receiver and filter appropriately to the Business Development Manager.
- Process, document, and ship all returns.
- Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person, and answering or directing inquiries.
- Research and coordinate with vendors for maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining company vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and delivering loads to exhibitions as needed, collaborating with Business Development Manager on necessary insurance, registration, etc. items.
- Participate in build, load-in, and load-out phases of exhibitions as needed.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Operate warehouse tools and equipment, including office printers, dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, electric saws, drills, etc.
- Communicate creative, problem-solving solutions and recommend improvements or new initiatives.
- Collaborate with Facilities, Production, and Retail teams to effectively manage warehouse space for optimal flow.
- Collaborate with Retail team regarding incoming shipments; schedule, receive, and document accordingly.
- Oversee the Warehouse Receiver with all job responsibilities and assist when needed.
- Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipated supply needs while observing par levels and budget.
- Evaluate new office products, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Assists with other items such as errands, purchases, etc. as needed.
- Document and generate profitability reports of warehouse systems, tools, and supplies; measure the effectiveness of warehouse activities and performance.
- Collaborate with Business Development Manager and Creative team when assisting in projects to approach them from a high-level perspective while keeping budget, detail-oriented solutions, and production processes in mind.
- Become a partner with Imagine personnel and select vendors for clear & continuous coordination to ensure transfers are delivered on time and products are to the level of quality expected at Imagine Exhibitions.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- 2-3+ years’ experience in warehouse management, operational logistics management, or freight storage management.
- 1-3+ years’ experience in exhibition maintenance or a handyman setting with basic carpentry and painting.
- High school diploma required – associates, trade school, or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or administration preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving history.
- Forklift certified preferred – must obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
- Mechanically inclined with basic shop skills
- Proven resourceful, collaborative leadership style and experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead basic coordination meetings with vendor/contractor representatives.
- Understanding of exhibition narrative and the ability to work within a strategic framework.
- Strong understanding of the logistical process and documentation from initial concepts through implementation
- Understanding of construction/maintenance materials & tools, retail merchandise, and freight logistics.
- Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, safety instructions & policies, repair manuals, etc.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and building officials for fire and life safety systems, structural, mechanical, electrical or data interface, as may be required.
- Ability to prioritize and concurrently work on multiple projects in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, without compromising accuracy, within the constraints of schedule and budget.
- Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to push, pull, bending at the waist like motions, and climb (ladders)
- Ability to lift 75 pounds for the purposes of moving equipment, merchandise, and boxes on and off shelves.
- Ability to lift 76+ pounds with appropriate tools and gear for the purposes of moving equipment, assets, pallets, etc.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to interpret and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Primarily an onsite position in Las Vegas, NV. May require travel between multiple local venues across the Las Vegas area.
