Position Title: Wealth Operations Manager
Reports To: President & CEO of Financial Group Inc.

Work Locations: Kilmarnock, VA

Position Purpose:

This position provides support to the firm’s Wealth Advisors and other members of senior management by performing diverse administrative duties, statistical assignments, and other clerical duties. Securities offered through LPL Financial Services, Member FINRA/SIPC.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle projects that may be of a complex and/or confidential nature.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute a wide variety of correspondence, reports and spreadsheets from notes and oral instruction. Become proficient on the proprietary software system for Wealth operations.
  • Maintain confidential executive and administrative files and records as BRB Wealth’s Office Manager.
  • Assist President of BRBFG with managing a book of client business more than $130 million
  • Administrative duties may be comprehensive including fielding client questions, phone calls, and conducting in-person client meetings. Maintaining a calendar of meetings, conducting meetings, scheduling appointments, and greet customers/visitors, maintaining client files and producing/generating client reports for scheduled meetings.
  • As directed by BRB Financial Group President, prepare Board and committee meeting agendas. Prior to meeting dates, distribute agendas and any other related materials.
  • Prepare Director Board reports for the BRB Financial Group Board and designated Board Committee meetings, to include coordination with staff on their respective agenda items and follow-up with staff after the meeting.
  • When required, attend meetings, and prepare minutes of the BRB FG Board and Board Committees.
  • Maintain an open line of communication. Keep supervisor and co-workers informed to increase cooperation, avoid conflict, and eliminate ""surprise"" situations.
  • Exercise discretion and make sound decisions by reasoning through problems, reviewing alternative solutions and modifying decisions when necessary.
  • Provide support by assisting co-workers and other departments with customer needs and requests.
  • Provide constant personal service to both internal and external customers as described in the Company-wide and Departmental Quality Service Standards.
  • Perform other tasks requested by supervisors as they relate to the BRB Financial Group, its Civic duties, and functions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between BRB Wealth and the firm's service provider, LPL Financial.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • Security 7 License or must obtain within six (6) - nine (9) months of employment.

Skills:

  • Strong computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong decision-making/problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and math skills, organizational skills, and customer service skills.
  • Effective verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language required.
  • Experience within Banking or similar field.

Abilities:

  • Ability to learn bank programmed software.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with accounts while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work all branch hours, remote or in office, including weekend and evenings.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence, and/or journals, or government regulations.
  • Ability to deal directly with the public, on the phone or face to face, following the Bank’s Customer Service Standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years' experience in a position in a related field.
  • Experience in trust, insurance, or investment services.
