Job description

The Quality Claims Accountant works with internal departments to research, document and account for quality claim issues.

Essential Functions:

• Process all Non-Conformance Reports.
• Create and Maintain Non-Conformance Report file.
• Manage the Non-Conformance Report Database which has all the information related to quality claims.
• Work alongside internal departments to gather information related to the sales order and product issues.
• Work alongside the Quality Control Manager and warehouse to have material returned from the customer to the company when needed.
• Research, finalize and process customer returns and credits.
• Research, finalize and process material dispositions.
• Research, finalize and process vendor debits.
• Research, finalize and process accounting reports resulting from the above tasks.

Desired Background:

• Accounting, Finance, or related degree strongly preferred.
• Problem solver and strict attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Multi-Task Oriented
• Strong Math Acumen
• 2 to 5 years Inventory Accounting preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
