PACE Supply's Premier Pump Division in Fresno, CA is looking to hire a hardworking Assembler/ Warehouse Worker to join the team. This position will be responsible for completing tasks in receiving with cross-training in the production area. Experience with turbine pump assembly is a PLUS!
Responsibilities:
Customer Interactions:
- Load and/or unload customers when performing a will call pick up or delivering a pump for repair.
Receiving and Vendor Interactions:
- Direct delivery trucks to appropriate location to efficiently stage unloaded materials
- Unload freight from delivery trucks
- Maintain cleanliness of the overall facility with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup
- Ability to count, and to perform basic mathematical computations
Order fulfillment:
- Ability to operate forklifts or hand truck, pallet jack to move and stage products
- Stock materials, insuring proper identification and accuracy with inventory database
- Refills shelves and racks from overstock as needed
- Ability to put things in proper sequence orderly
Internal Communications
- Reports all damaged material and discrepancies of delivery to appropriate department
- Inputs inventory into database
- Utilizes computers to track and verify quantity, part numbers and location
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with both internal employees and customers.
- When needed, this position will require the individual to offer support in the production area of the Build Center building skids, painting, etc.
Minimum Education, Work Experience and Skills:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. Pipe, Valves, and Fittings knowledge is required
Ideal Education, Work Experience and Skills:
High School Diploma. Experience with receiving and shipping is helpful. Experience with building wooden skids. Experience with inventory put away as related to locations. Strong knowledge of plumbing and pump products, Internal PACE MIS and prior inside sales is highly desirable.
