Job Description:
At Regions, the Bank Operations Funds Transfer Specialist performs processing for all regular, restricted, and legal transfers including Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (S.W.I.F.T.) payments and transfers.

Primary Responsibilities
Enters transfer instructions and performs necessary verifications
Handles instruction receipts and authentication
Completes processing of end-of-day general ledger entries
Executes transactions and maintains records
May perform quality reviews to ensure production systems are posting properly
Works with limited direction/supervision
Assists in ensuring team complies with applicable policies and regulations, including proper documentation
Provides advice and guidance to less experienced associates, assisting in the development of necessary skills and the promotion of continuous improvement initiatives

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Four (4) years of related banking or operations experience

Skills and Competencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
General knowledge of banking procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation

This role would be a remote position, but it would be expected to come on-site to handle duties when needed.

Serve as the reconcilement backup

Shift will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Additional Job Descriptions:
Implements wire transfer agreements
Enters exhibit instructions and performs necessary verifications
Handles inbound calls
