Consolidated Networks Corporation (CNC) is hiring a Computer Systems Analyst II. This position is at Ft. Polk, the U.S. Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) located very near Leesville, Louisiana. Candidate will perform primarily Computer Systems Analyst duties supporting multiple domain environment systems in a complex fast paced 24 x 7 DoD Army computing environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or IAT Level II certification required to start.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain Fort Polk driving privileges.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Must be willing to work shift work during Army Rotational periods.
  • Must be able to tolerate work in the extreme Louisiana heat and work in various environmental conditions and terrains.
  • Must be able to travel to training areas (on post or just outside of Ft. Polk) by 4x4 vehicles, and tactical vehicles.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Solaris
  • VMware or Hyper V
  • Solar Winds
  • Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, Power Shell.
  • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • NATO phonetic alphabet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Help Desk Lead
  • Receives logs and resolves IT technical issues.
  • Manages, installs, and configures software and hardware such as Windows, RedHat & VM Ware).
  • Active Directory account creation.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Assist PDSS with the upgrade of systems, installation of new systems and new software releases.
  • And other duties as assigned.
