Heart Monitoring Technician, UHS

United Health Services is seeking a Heart Monitoring Technician to join our Team. This is a BENEFITS-ELIGIBLE position.

Shift: Evenings, Every other weekend, Rotating Holidays

Hours per week: 32

Salary range: $17.00-$22.95, Depending on experience

Heart Monitoring Technician Overview

The Heart Monitoring Technician will be responsible for overseeing all telemetry (heart) monitors for the UHS System, to include Wilson Medical Center, Binghamton General Hospital, Chenango Memorial Hospital and Delaware Valley Hospital. Positions will be located onsite at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.

Heart Monitoring Technician Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Continuously monitor telemetry rhythms of assigned patients.

Communicate via the established process to unit employees providing direct patient care to staff.

Printing of telemetry strips for documentation in the medical record.

Cleaning/Tracking/ADT functions of all telemetry monitor boxes.

Position Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical knowledge/experience preferred, but training will be provided.
